Drug manufacturing is a complex procedure and pharma companies have enough to deal with, without having to worry about packaging mismatches.
In the pharmaceutical world, precision and reliability are non-negotiable. Yet when it comes to packaging, many manufacturers still face an unexpected challenge: sourcing bottles and closures from separate suppliers.
Traditionally, pharma companies source drug bottles from one supplier and closures from another. This approach often leads to mismatched components, increased material waste, and unnecessary frustration.
This fragmented approach often leads to compatibility issues, production delays, and increased waste. It’s an inefficient process that costs time, money, and peace of mind.
After receiving multiple requests from our customers, who were already relying on our high-quality bottles, we at LOG Pharma Primary Packaging took a strategic decision to expand our capabilities to produce closures in-house. By manufacturing both bottles and closures under one roof, we can guarantee seamless compatibility, simplify supply chains, and eliminate the risks of mismatched components.
To support this, the company has invested in two new state-of-the-art injection molding machines with the capacity to produce over 100 million closures annually. This strategic upgrade enables us to meet growing demand with consistent quality and precision.
All of our packaging solutions, including our newly developed SP400 closures, meet strict global standards for child-resistance and safety including ISO 8317:2015 and US 16 CFR 1700.20.
Several leading international pharmaceutical companies are already benefiting from LOG’s fully integrated packaging solutions. Our streamlined offering helps them reduce waste, speed up production, and maintain strict quality control across the entire packaging process.
We, at LOG, believe packaging should support – not complicate – your production process. That’s why we’re committed to providing dependable, high-performance packaging solutions that give manufacturers the confidence they need to focus on what matters most: delivering safe, effective treatments to patients.
