The appointment marks a strategic step in the company’s continued expansion, with a special focus on strengthening its presence in the U.S. market.
Karmon succeeds Shaul Bassi, who is stepping down after five years at the helm, a period that saw LOG join the Perlen Packaging and undergo sustained expansion. During Bassi’s tenure, the company introduced new product lines and solidified its position as a trusted provider of high-quality, pharmaceutical-grade packaging.
Karmon was selected by Perlen, among other reasons, for his solid experience in the plastics and packaging industries. Before joining LOG, he served as CEO of Plasgad, which specializes in smart packaging and transport solutions. During his time there, Karmon successfully led the company’s entry into the U.S. market.
