Over the past months, LOG has been investing in additional manufacturing capacity across our production sites.
At our facility in Hungary, we recently added a new dedicated injection mold to increase production capacity for a specialized pharmaceutical packaging component, supporting the growing demand of one of our strategic pharma customers.
At our facility in Israel, our teams are in the final stage of implementing a new automated child-resistant closure assembly machine, following successful installation and initial production runs. Commercial production is starting in the coming days.
The new machine represents a significant investment and is one of LOG’s largest manufacturing investments in recent years, increasing the assembly capacity of our child-resistant closure line by more than 100 million units annually.
Operating in a cleanroom environment, the machine incorporates an advanced vision inspection system that photographs and inspects every individual closure, helping ensure that each assembled product meets the defined technical specifications.
“This machine was carefully selected after evaluating several alternatives,” says Yehuda Bashan, VP Operations at LOG. “Supply continuity was a key consideration, together with the ability to integrate an advanced vision inspection system to ensure consistent compliance with our technical specifications.”
These investments in Israel and Hungary reflect the same objective: building the capacity, quality systems and manufacturing infrastructure needed to support our pharmaceutical customers as they grow.
