LOG Pharma Primary Packaging has welcomed Ofer Karmon as its new CEO, signaling a strategic move to accelerate the company’s global growth – particularly in the U.S. market.
Karmon succeeds Shaul Bassi, who is stepping down after five years at the helm, a period that saw LOG join Perlen Packaging and undergo sustained expansion. During Bassi’s tenure, LOG experienced a period of sustained expansion, introducing new product lines and solidifying its position as a trusted provider of high-quality, pharmaceutical-grade packaging.
Appointed by Perlen, Karmon brings solid experience in the plastics and packaging industries. Before joining LOG, he served as CEO of Plasgad, where he led the company’s initial entry into the U.S. market and promoted advancements in packaging and logistics solutions.
Speaking at a handover ceremony held at Kibbutz Ashdot Ya’akov Ichud, Karmon emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding its global footprint by delivering technically advanced, locally produced packaging solutions that align with the stringent quality demands of the international pharmaceutical market.
Karmon acknowledged his predecessor’s achievements, noting Bassi’s critical role in laying the groundwork for the company’s next phase, including investments in infrastructure and the formulation of a forward-looking global strategy.
