Swiss-based Perlen Packaging has acquired Log Pharma Industries as part of its strategy to expand its global presence and product range.
Perlen Packaging is a division of the CPH Group, a publicly traded company on the Zurich Stock Exchange. The company focuses on blister packaging for pharmaceuticals and sees Log Pharma as a good addition to its portfolio. By acquiring Log, Perlen aims to strengthen its position in the market and gain access to new customers and regions.
As part of the agreement, Perlen has committed to investing in Log’s manufacturing facilities in Israel and Hungary. This will support Log’s growth and help expand its reach in global markets. Log’s CEO, Shaul Bassi, welcomed the acquisition, stating that Perlen’s international presence will improve Log’s service to existing and new customers.
This strategic move opens up great opportunities for Log, allowing the company to grow, innovate, and reach new markets worldwide.
Following the sale, Log is more dedicated than ever to providing the exceptional service and support its customers trust. All operations will continue seamlessly — there will be no changes to quality agreements, product specifications, part numbers, or quality certificates.
Marc Haller, Head of Packaging Operations at CPH Group, emphasized that Log’s facilities in Israel and Hungary would provide Perlen with better access to the Eastern European market. He also noted that the two companies’ combined expertise would allow them to respond more effectively to customer needs.
The acquisition process started before October 2023 and was completed despite recent challenges in the Israeli business environment. According to Dr. Nurit Nahum, Chairperson of LOG Pharma, who played a key role in the deal, Perlen recognized Log’s strong market position and technological capabilities.
With Perlen’s support, Log is expected to continue developing its packaging solutions and expanding its operations. The acquisition represents an opportunity for Log to grow while maintaining its commitment to quality and innovation in pharmaceutical packaging.
By acquiring LOG Pharma and establishing a direct presence in Israel and Hungary, the CPH Group is strengthening its global market position in the pharmaceutical packaging sector, particularly in high-growth regions.
This deal marks another milestone in the CPH Group’s ongoing global expansion strategy, reinforcing its commitment to growth in key markets. With this addition, the Group now operates across 14 locations worldwide.
